International Conference on Frontiers in Materials Processing, Applications Research & Technology (FIMPART)

Hyderabad, India – 12th to 15th June, 2015

http://www.fimpart.org/2015/

FiMPART is first of its kind to cover all major areas of materials research under one common platform. The meeting and discussions in this conference are targeted at enabling innovation. FiMPART will cover all aspects of materials research, processing, fabrication, structure/property evaluation, applications of ferrous, non-ferrous, ceramic, polymeric materials and composites including biomaterials, materials for energy, fuel cells/hydrogen storage technologies, batteries, super-capacitors, nano-materials for energy and structural applications, aerospace structural metallic materials, bulk metallic glasses and other advanced materials.

FiMPART covers diverse topics of importance under 18 different symposia. The symposia topics have been carefully chosen so as to enable broader interaction that can lead to innovation. The overarching symposia topics are listed in the website, but we have to remark the Symposium on Smart Materials.

10th European Symposium on Martensitic Transformations (ESOMAT)

Antwerp, Belgium – 14th to 18th September, 2015

We cordially invite you to join us at the 10th European Symposium on Martensitic Transformations (ESOMAT) meeting in 2015 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Today the martensite community in Europe is very active with several large networks and specialised research groups focusing on various matters concerning the fundamental scientific questions and potential technological applications of martensitic and related transformations. It is the aim of the organizers to continue the tradition of a well-focused meeting, a tradition which started in 1989 in Bochum, Germany, with the most recent event of the series having been organized in 2012 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The 16th European Microscopy Congress (EMC-2016)

Lyon, France – 28th August to 2nd September, 2016

http://emc2016.fr/en/

On behalf of the French Society of Microscopy SFµ, we would like to warmly welcome you in the charming and cultural city of Lyon for the 16th European Microscopy Congress – EMC2016, from August 28th to September 2nd, 2016, organized under the auspices of the European Microscopy Society (EMS) and the International Federation of Microscopy Societies (IFSM).

After having hosted the International Congress on Electron Microscopy in Grenoble in 1970, then in Paris in 1994, it is a great pleasure and a great honour for us to invite you to be part of this new international event on microscopy that will be again in France.

Since the 12th European Congress on Electron Microscopy EUREM in Brno, Czech Republic in 2000, this European meeting, which is held every four years, has evolved to cover not only electron microscopy but a much larger panel of all the microscopies. We clearly intend to promote in the next EMC2016 a pluri- and multi-disciplinary atmosphere, mixing, photonic, near field, ionic and electron-based approaches, with an extension to complementary techniques such as spectroscopies, atom probe and X-ray tomography.

15th International Conference on New Actuators and Exhibition on Smart Actuators and Drive Systems

Bremen, Germany – 13th to 15th June, 2016

http://www.actuator.de/templ_act_en_14.php?sprache=&nav=1&sub1=1&sub2=0&menu_id=60

In attracting about 500 participants from more than 30 countries the 14th International Conference on New Actuators is the most important market place to meet leading international specialists, to share their expertise and to start business co-operations in the field of new actuator technologies.

The invitation to attend ACTUATOR is directed at executives and researchers from industrial companies as well as institutes, colleges and universities who are interested in the transfer of R&D results into innovative actuator applications and drive technologies.

ACTUATOR has been the key forum promoting actuators based on smart materials and micro technologies as well as their applications in all areas of engineering for more than twenty years now. Over the years a huge variety of ideas and results have been reported. A lot of them have been raised from vision to mass product. Among the success stories you will find quite a number of established applications of new actuators, in particular their well-known use in fuel injection, adaptive shock absorbers, nanopositioning, precision engineering like cameras lenses and other applications of miniaturised drives.
